Village Name: Levka Population: 450 Amenities: 4 village shops and 4 bars, post office, primary school, and park. Other: Only 21km to the Greek border and 30km to the Turkish border. Located nearby, you'll find stunning lakes, reservoirs, forests, vineyards, streams, rolling hills and ancient ruins. House: 3 rooms upstairs and three rooms downstairs, both floors with hallways and porch / balcony, outside staircase. There's also a large barn connected to the far side. Garden: A good sized plot with a courtyard garden at the bottom and a much bigger garden behind. Water well and grapevines. Gornata House means the top house, as it sits right at one of the highest points in Levka. The location and views are stunning. Despite having not been lived in for a few years, it's in a pretty decent condition. There is work to do if you wish to make this place comfortable, but structurally it seems to be good. The roof will need a bit of work. This could be a whole new roof, but I imagine you'll get away with repairs, meaning a few new tiles, flashing, felting and re sealing the ridges. The property is connected to mains water and electricity and you also have a deep well in the garden. The is no bathroom or obvious kitchen at the moment and new plumbing and cable would be advised as it is for most of these old properties. There are however some really lovely features such as the wooden floors throughout the upstairs and the exposed beams below, the original wooden doors and the gnarly grapevines outside the front.
